April 10, 2013 F, G and H docks now have power!  Yay!

April 6, 2013 L and M docks both have power now!  We are starting to work on the new water system to the docks.  If you have water on your dock and the pressure is not strong yet, please do not mess with any of the gate valves as they are most likely turned down for a reason.  One last thing, if you are removing shrink wrap from your boat, we had a container  brought in to recycle the shrink wrap down in service.  If your boat is is the yard, please use that dumpster.  If your boat is in the water, please bundle it up nicely, tie it and we will take it down to service for you.  If you have an executed 2013/2014 contract, your new access cards are ready to be picked up.  You may pick them up from Margaret in the lightship on weekdays and in the store on the weekends.  The cards are programmed to start working on April 15, 2013.  Your old cards will work until then.

March 23, 2013:  A word from our General Manager

Our new security and entrance gate systems will be in place by April 15th.  All executed 2013 contract holders can begin picking up their new access keys starting April 5, 2013.  Each contract holder will receive two access cards that will allow them entry into our parking lot, bathrooms and their own gate.  Monday-Friday, please pick up your gate passes from Margaret D'Angelo in the red lightship.  On the weekend, you may pick up your passes in the marine store.  Please pick up your new access cards before April 15th, as our new gate system will be activated April 15th and you will need a new card in order to gain access to the marina.

As of March 22, 2013, all the new dock houses are in place.  We appreciate your patience and understanding during our rebuilding stage.  As most of you can see, our crew at Liberty Landing has been working diligently, 7 days a week since the storm, to ensure that your 2013 boating season will be as wonderful as it has been in years past.

Finally, like us, I am sure you are all sick and tired of hitting all the potholes in the parking lot.  Beginning April 1, 2013 the asphalt repairs will commence and our tenant parking will be impacted from April 4-5 and April 8-9.  We ask that no cars be parked in the tenant lot in order for us to complete this job in a timely manner.  If you need parking during this time, the central parking lot across the cobblestone road will be available.  The main gate parking lot by the two restaurants will be impacted from April 1-3, 2013.

March 14, 2013 PSE&G just called us to let us know that they will be shutting off electric on Tuesday March 17th to begin their repairs.  Please make sure your boat is fully winterized while your docks are down.  If  you have any questions, please call the store and we will do our best to answer them.  One last note:  C dock has power again!

March 11, 2013 PSE&G turned off electric to K and L docks this morning.  Please make sure your boat is fully winterized while your dock is down.  If you have any questions, please call the store and we will do our best to answer them.

February 25, 2013 We have received confirmation that M & J docks will have their electric turned off on Wednesday Feburary 27, 2013.  During this down time, the old dock house will be removed and the new one will be placed.  Please make sure that your boat is fully winterized during this time.  If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact the store between the hours of 7:30 a.m - 4:00 p.m.

February 18, 2013 PSE&G has confirmed that they will be disconnecting electric on C, O and N docks on Wednesday February 20, 2013.  Please make sure that your boat has been fully winterized while your dock is without power.  If you are staying aboard and need a new slip assignment, please contact us at the store, if we haven't made contact with you already.

February 15, 2013 Good Afternoon!  Many of you have noticed that we created a new Facebook page.  We did this because we are rolling out a couple of new programs tha can only be linked through a Facebook page and not a Facebook group. The first new program is our 411 program.  During Hurricane Sandy, we had no power, no email and limited cell phone service, however, many of us still had the capability to text.  This new program will allow us to text message any alerts and/or notices.  Text to 411247 and type in LLM411 as your message and you will register to receive notices pertinent to Liberty Landing Marina.  This will give us a new way to reach out to our tenants notifying of power outages, severe weather, etc.

Stay tuned to our news and events section of our website, as we will be unveilable a couple of new customer loyalty programs regarding store specials, seminars and fuel discounts.

February 7, 2013 Good Morning!  Just a quick note to ask everyone to pick up any hoses and loose items lying around your dock.  We anticipate having to do a little snow blowing and snow shoveling this weekend.  We plan on making  a pass through each dock tomorrow before the storm begins to pitch all items that will impede our ability to clean up after the snow storm.  Try and stay warm and dry this weekend and if you have to go out, please drive carefully!  Thank you!

January 31, 2013 Good Afternoon!  The new P dock house has been set and the ramp has been reconnected.  We expect to have electric back on P dock by the end of the week.  We are moving forward with E dock.  E dock electric has been turned off and we are removing the old dock house as I type.  In a perfect world, we do expect that we will finally begin working on C dock on Monday February 4, 2012.

Update on Hurricane Sandy:  We want to express our gratitude for your support and patience following Hurricane Sandy.  As we move forward through the winter months, we will begin to rebuild our infrastructure with new dock houses, electric, water and meters.  We will need your continued support as each dock will have a period of down time.  We expect that each dock will be down for approximately 2-3 weeks, weather permitting.  Phase I is set to begin later this week.  Contractors and their trucks will need to occupy the north side of our tenant parking lot.  We will need all tenants to move their vehicles by Friday December 14th to the south side of the parking lot so that we can build the new dock houses outside your dock.  Then starting January 2nd, we will start dismantling our old dock houses and placing the new dock houses.

The Liberty Landing Marina service department would like to announce that it is now a Kohler generator dealer. If you are looking to replace your old generator or upgrade your boat and add a new generator, please contact the service department to get an estimate.
